WHAT IS IT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Airbrush makeup has become extremely popular in the past few years. It's a lightweight makeup applied through an airgun that produces a thin, even layer of makeup and creates a beautiful matte finish.
It works by using a small amount of a very thin makeup designed specifically for airbrushing. When the machine is turned on and the gun trigger pulled, a light spray of makeup comes out of the gun in an ultra fine mist allowing the artist to blend colors more smoothly than conventional makeup giving you a very flawless finish without using much makeup.
Airbrush makeup is non-transferable, once it’s on and it won’t go anywhere until you wash it off. Slight rubbing or brushing against something or someone will not cause the makeup to come off of the face. This also is a desirable feature especially when you have a special event and don’t want to worry about your makeup wearing off. Black clothes will remain black after hugging someone wearing airbrush makeup. Airbrushing can also be used to camouflage tattoos or unwanted skin discoloration as well as giving you the ability to build up resulting in little coverage to full coverage depending on your desired goals.
Like all makeup if it does become wet thru crying or sweating, you run the risk of it streaking.
If it is your wedding day, there is a high probability of some tears. We recommend you blot when you feel this happening, do not wipe.
BEFORE YOU SEE YOUR ARTIST:
Always have pictures to show your artist on the makeup you like. Build a Pinterest page on different makeup you like. How you describe what you want may not be how your artist perceives what you want. Pictures are key. Tell your artist about your normal makeup regimen. Do you usually wear makeup? For people that never wear makeup, anything can be a lot. Do you have oily to dry skin? What are your concerns? What is it that you absolutely don’t like, and what do you love? Communication is key!
